Our Wonder Wall

Each week the KinderPals have been wondering about things and practising writing out their wonder questions. We have now created a “Wonder Wall” outside of our classroom to share our wonders with the rest of the students in the school. We hope that we will be able to answer some of the inquiry questions that we think of. Maybe these would even lead to some good dinner table discussions at home?

“I wonder how big the seed will grow? I think big as me.”

“I wonder why the seed needs soil? I think it needs to grow.”

“I wonder how the flowers grow? I think they grow by sun and rain.”

“I wonder how seeds grow? I think flowers need water.”

“I wonder what the seed will do?”

“I wonder when seeds are gonna grow? I think in 5 days.”

“I wonder how the seeds grow? I think they are beautiful!”

“I wonder when the seeds are gonna grow? I thhink the flowers are gonna be too much beautiful.”

“I wonder why the seeds have to be soaked? I think the seeds need to be ready to grow with sun and rain.”

“I wonder what the sunflower looks like? I think the sunflower has yellow petals.”

“I wonder how the seed grows in the spring? I think rain and water and sun helps the seed.”

“I wonder how the seed is going to grow? I think they are going to look beautiful.”

“I wonder how the seed will look like? I think it will be dark brown.”

“I wonder how long the seeds take to grow? I think the seeds will grow in May.”

“I wonder when the seeds grow? I think the sunflower seed is going to grow today.”

“I wonder why we have to soak the seeds? I think we soak the seeds to help the seeds grow.”

“I wonder how the sunflower grows? I think the sunflower is going to grow in May.”

“I wonder how the seed grows in spring? I think water makes them grow.”

“I wonder how seeds grow? I think the flower grows today.”

“I wonder what the sunflower is going to look like? I think the sunflower looks like it is soft.”

  1. These are so cute! I love the wonder photos!

  2. I like reading what you wonder. The pictures you draw help me see what you are thinking about. I wonder about soaking seeds too. I notice that I have a lot of dandelions around my garden this year. I wonder how long it takes for them to go from flowers to that blow away stage.
